Cash and scholarships for high school students are available through two different contests: Joplin Globe and Crowder Quill.

Reminder:

Cash prizes will be awarded for the Joplin Globe high school writing contest. The deadline is Feb. 1.

Also, $500 scholarships are available to the high school gold winners for each category in the Crowder Quill contest. Stipulations apply. The deadline is Feb. 5.
