The cover art for the 2025 Crowder Quill edition has been chosen. The front cover will be graced by “The Road Home” by Samantha Cafferty of Neosho. The B&W Photography category submission was entered in the Crowder division.

“This photo shows the road I grew up on in Colorado. Every night I would watch the sun set behind those mountains,” said Cafferty. “It was true raw beauty.”

Cafferty is a first-time college student after 10 plus years of graduating high school. She is a mother to a handsome son. She currently works full time in the ER while taking full time online classes to pursue her dreams of nursing.

Cafferty took the photo on an IPHONE 16 Pro and used the editing on the camera itself to change it into black and white.
